What these illustrations can show
Rotate the examples to look at a circuit board, contact edge, component packages and a decorative heatspreader. The shapes and component positions are deliberately generic.
They cannot establish DDR generation, ECC, buffering, rank, pin layout, capacity or platform fit. Their simplified geometry does not adapt to a selected SKU, system or kit. Do not identify a replacement module or infer compatibility from either illustration.
Bare circuit-board example
An illustrative board with visible component packages. This is not a verified RDIMM, ECC UDIMM or other module layout.
Heatspreader example
An illustrative outer casing around the same simplified board concept. Its appearance does not establish a desktop platform, performance profile or supplied product design.
Use exact information to choose a part
Product pages show the selected manufacturer photograph when verified, a clearly labelled family photograph, or an explicit illustration where photography is unavailable. Follow the full part number, supplied module or kit specification and manufacturer platform documentation.
