What the DIMMVAULT application uses
The application uses local storage for the shortlist you request. Analytics identifiers are used only if you accept optional Google Analytics on dimmvault.com. Advertising cookies are not enabled. Local storage is a browser storage technology and is not itself a cookie. Private sign-in and hosting may use their own essential authentication or security technologies.
Shortlist storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| dimmvault-brief | Remember selected parts, quantities and a memory brief you create | Up to 30 days from the last shortlist change; removed on the next visit after expiry |
Your controls
Open your shortlist and select “Clear shortlist” to remove its stored content. You can also delete this site’s data in your browser settings. If browser storage is unavailable, the shortlist works for the current open page but cannot be preserved across visits. A downloaded brief remains on your device until you remove the file.
Video and preferences
The hero film is served from this site. It is muted, has a play/pause control and does not autoplay when your browser reports a reduced-motion or data-saving preference. The play/pause choice is not stored between visits. Comparison selections are also kept only in the open page.
Sign-in and optional tracking
Where ChatGPT sign-in is used to access the site, OpenAI provides that authentication under its privacy information. Google Analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. It measures page visits using _ga and _ga_59EPDHWDX0 cookies, with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. The dimmvault-analytics-consent local-storage entry remembers acceptance or rejection for up to 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Reject analytics stops future collection and removes this site’s Analytics cookies. Google does not receive an Analytics request before acceptance. No Analytics runs on our private preview. See Google’s privacy policy.
